Welcome to National Children’s Day Health Fair!

We give God thanks for this opportunity to gather as a church family and community to celebrate our children, strengthen our families, and serve one another in love.

We believe caring for people is a vital part of our ministry and a reflection of Christ’s compassion. This health fair has been created with the purpose of providing equitable access to health care services and resources, ensuring that every child and every family has the support they need to grow, thrive, and live well. We are committed to helping remove barriers to care and services.

As we honor National Children’s Day, we are blessed to offer basic back-to-school health services, valuable wellness resources, and family fun activities that bring joy, connection, and encouragement to our community. Through interactive activations exploring the Dimensions of Wellness, we aim to nurture the whole child and the whole family. We believe in the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.

It is our prayer that this event will be a place of healing, hope, education, and empowerment. May every family who attends feel welcomed, supported, and reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved by God and by this church community.

About Salem Kids, Teens, and ABLE Ministry

Salem Kids, Teens, and ABLE Ministry at Salem Baptist Church of Chicago is committed to nurturing the next generation through biblical teaching, meaningful relationships, and a joyful community rooted in faith. We believe that teaching the foundation of our faith is essential to helping children and teens grow into confident disciples of Christ with strong spiritual values that will guide them throughout their lives.

Our ministry creates engaging experiences through music, fun, fellowship, and interactive learning that make faith come alive for every child. We strive to build an environment where children and teens feel connected, encouraged, and excited to grow in their relationship with God and with one another. Every little saint belongs here.

Our Teen Ministry is focused on preparing young people to navigate life with faith, wisdom, and purpose. We encourage our teens to allow the principles of their faith to serve as their moral compass in every area of life. Through mentorship, fellowship, honest conversations, and biblical teaching, we empower teens to become disciples for Christ, defenders of their faith, and compassionate leaders who reflect God’s love in the world around them. We strive to help them build confidence in their identity, strengthen their relationship with God, and develop the courage to stand firm in truth while showing grace and compassion toward others.

The ABLE Ministry is intentionally designed to support and accommodate children with neurodiversity and varying abilities, ensuring that all children can fully participate, learn, worship, and thrive in a loving and inclusive environment. We celebrate the uniqueness of every child and are dedicated to creating spaces where each one feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

As a Bible teaching ministry, we believe in building lifelong relationships, both within our church family and in our personal walk with God. We understand that the life and future of our church depend on the strength of our children’s ministry. By investing in our children today, we are cultivating faithful leaders, compassionate servants, and strong believers for generations to come.
